Art has been part of Pamela's life from the beginning. She grew up watching her mother paint and work as an interior designer, developing an early appreciation for color, composition, and the way art can transform a space. After years working in fashion merchandising, business, and creative leadership, Pamela returned to painting with a renewed sense of purpose—bringing together her creative instincts and her understanding of how art lives within a home.

Today, Pamela's practice continues to evolve, moving between representation and abstraction while remaining grounded in her distinctive use of color, texture, composition, and atmosphere.

Artist Statement

My fascination with art began early, shaped by watching my mother paint and work as an interior designer. From those experiences, I developed a lasting appreciation for color, beauty, and the way visual elements can change how a space feels.

I am drawn to the natural world around me—oak trees, marshes, magnolias, water, flowers, birds, moths, and the changing light and color of Florida. These subjects often begin with observation or memory and evolve through paint into something more expressive.

I work between representation and abstraction, building each painting through layered acrylics, texture, color, and movement. Sometimes the subject is recognizable; sometimes what remains is more about atmosphere and feeling. I am interested in that space between what we see and what we remember.

The 2026 collection marks my return to painting and the beginning of a new chapter in my artistic practice. It celebrates nature, beauty, memory, and the feeling of home while leaving room for my work to continue evolving.

Ultimately, I want my paintings to bring beauty and a sense of pause into the spaces they inhabit—works that become more personal and meaningful with time.

Creative Practice

Pamela's work moves fluidly between landscape, botanical forms, subjects from nature, and abstraction. Color remains central to her practice, with layered acrylics, expressive brushwork, impasto, and carefully considered pigment relationships creating depth, movement, and atmosphere.

Her original paintings range from intimate 14 × 14 inch works to substantial statement pieces measuring up to 64 × 48 inches. Each work is individually framed in natural wood, selected to complement the painting and its intended setting.

Studio & Materials

Pamela works from her studio in St. Johns County, Florida, using professional, archival-quality acrylics and premium cotton canvas. Materials are selected with both visual quality and longevity in mind. Each original is thoughtfully finished and prepared as a collectible work intended to be lived with and enjoyed for years to come.
